Unscrew the light head, and then insert the battery with the anode side (+) facing towards the light head. Finally, screw the light head back on securely.
Intelligent Overheat Protection
When the light is utilized at the High output level for extended periods, it will accumulate a significant amount of heat. In order to mitigate this, the light will automatically step down by a few lumens to lower the temperature. If necessary, the High output levels can be reselected.
